The biopharmaceutical industry has made a strong move towards single-use technology, so Nordson MEDICAL has developed PharmaLok™ sanitary clamps to simplify the assembly process by making it effortless to securely attach sanitary fittings to bag ports and filters. PharmaLok™ clamps are ASME BPE compatible and fit 0.5" (12.7 mm) to 0.75" (19.0 mm), 1" (25.4 mm) to 1.5" (31.8 mm), 3" (76.2 mm), and 4" (101.6 mm) flanges. These clamps provide a significant advancement for the industry, as a number of existing solutions either require tools for closure or consist of multiple components, which turns what should be a simple operation into a difficult and awkward process.

PharmaLok™ ZerO is designed for versatility, offering universal compatibility with a wide range of fittings and flanges. Its adaptive closure accommodates gasket and flange variations, ensuring a secure, reliable seal every time. The single-setting latch simplifies operation with a tool-free design that eliminates the need for torque checks or adjustments. Featuring a compact design with a nested latch and hinges, it eliminates protrusions while using up to 25% less material than traditional TC clamps. Clean manufacturing also means minimized particulate, making PharmaLok™ ZerO a cleaner, more advanced solution for biopharma applications.
360° Compression

PharmaLok™ ZerO sanitary clamps deliver uniform 360° compression, ensuring consistent sealing without compromising the integrity of the gasket. Clamps utilizing a single hinge may cause pinching, distortion, or gasket intrusion. Our innovative design ensures even pressure by triangulating pressure points to evenly disperse the compression load.

Wide Opening Capability
The rounded hinges featured on all sanitary clamps enable users to fully open them to a greater angle, easing the insertion of both conforming and non-conforming fittings with ease, while also preventing accidental separation when fully extended.
