Quick Disconnect Fittings

Easy-to-Use Design for a Smooth Disconnect

Providing a leak-free connection, Spaulding Series™ aseptic disconnects eliminate the need for pinch clamps and tube welders. Smooth disconnects are achievable with the easy-to-use design, and valuable fluids are protected by valves that automatically shut off flow when the fittings are disconnected. Available in USP Class VI, ADCF polysulfone, validation and test results confirm their suitability in pre-sterilized systems and are also gamma radiation stable.

What Does Aseptic Mean?

Aseptic refers to a condition that is free from contamination by harmful bacteria, viruses, or other microorganisms. In medical component contexts, aseptic features are designed to maintain sterility and prevent infection or contamination.

Meeting Industry Requirements

Nordson MEDICAL is not only dedicated to innovation, but we design our fittings to meet industry requirements and to be interchangeable with other plastic connectors — allowing front-line workers to focus on saving or enhancing the lives of patients around the world.

Cold Transport

Increased Stability

Vaccine Distribution During Cold Transport

In the global response to slow the spread of COVID-19 and deliver vaccines throughout the world, Nordson MEDICAL is playing an integral part by bolstering the cold transport of vaccines with our Spaulding Series™ aseptic disconnects. With the ability to perform leak-free at temperatures down to -112° F (-80° C), our aseptic disconnects allow for the increased stability of vaccines throughout the cold chain. The connectors are suitable for all cold chain applications that require both an aseptic disconnect and valve to maintain a sterile barrier during product transport.

Quality Materials

In addition to the quality design of our aseptic disconnects, we use only quality materials, such as USP Class VI ADCF polysulfone, which is designed to be suitable for pre/post-sterilized systems.

Silicone O-Rings

Silicone o-rings in our aseptic quick disconnects provide superior sealing performance, ensuring leak-proof connections. They offer excellent chemical resistance and durability, enhancing the longevity and reliability of the aseptic systems.
